Outstanding Chinese Restaurant This place is BEAUTIFUL!!! Not your typical Chinese restaurant. The beautifully appointed restaurant offers romantic booths and even a raised quiet "room" for a special dinner. The food was delicious - of course they offer an extensive menu - everything is exquisite. If you want Chinese and a nice romantic setting, get to Forbidden City. It's a little difficult to find. It sits off of VA Beach Boulevard in the Harris Teeter shopping center.
Forbidden City A business group that I am involved in had a party at Forbidden City. To say that Emily did a fantastic job would be an understatement. The price was great and the food that Emily served absolutely wowed everyone. If you plan a party and want a private room and want to impress your guests..Forbidden City is the place to go.
Great choice for lunch. If you love sushi, then you are going to love this place! A new favorite of mine.
Fresh sushi rolls while you wait plus other goodies. The owner will usually make something special just for us to try out and add to the menu if it's a hit! We love this new place.
Good place to stop in for lunch. Sushi bar and food are great. Chef made a couple of special rolls for us to try out. Very good; have to try them out sometime.
Excellent food...excellent service. I used to go to this place awhile back...its now called Forbidden Palace (was Forbidden City). The new place looks great...it has a modern look to it with a full bar (some flavored sake...apple...try it), sushi bar and many other great dishes. I was not disappointed.
