Kathryn Forbes-Fisher was our counselor for court-ordered coparenting counseling with my ex-wife, who I share custody of our two daughters. It was the worst counseling experience of my life and I would STRONGLY CAUTION ANY MEN who attend session with her because of how heavily she favors females. Kathy Forbes-Fisher is DANGEROUS. She is highly biased towards men, abusive men in particular. She will encourage men to continue to abuse their ex or partner using the court system. Her behavior was egregious. My ex made it less than a year with joint custody before he was charged with child abuse- abuse that Kathy knew about because we discussed it and she failed to report it. She is a danger to protective parents and to children and should not have a license. Should be zero stars but it won’t let me put 0.

Professional; caring; listens and remembers everything; helped me deal with issues of abandonment and depression
I was struggling with anxiety, depression, and alcohol abuse. Right from the first visit Kathy was professional and caring. She listens deeply and provides both direction and wisdom. You do not feel alone with Dr. Forbes-Fisher’s help. She has helped me find the peace and strength I lost a long time ago. I can’t explain it but when I leave her office I feel empowered to confront the scariest parts of my life.
She is horrible.
If I could give zero stars, I would. This woman calls herself a counselor but told my son his feelings don’t matter. She forced him forward in reunifying with his abusive father and then blamed me when it didn’t work. She excluded me from the sessions and then told others I refused to go because of my bill (a flat out lie) but then charged me for all of the visits I was not invited to. Kathy was simply terrible. I couldn’t tell you a single good thing and I left this appointment feeling so much worse than better. She billed for services not rendered. She didn’t understand anything I was explaining, projecting her own false and judgmental interpretations on my life experiences. It was seriously awful.
