Happy to write a review...I have been bringing my dogs here for a few years I have never had a problem until 1/29/13...I took my maltese and yorkie to be groomed. I told them when I dropped them off that Casper would need to be shaved possibly because he was messy, however missy only needed bath and a little cut. I did tell them however that Missy would be aggressive when they were cutting her nails. I even called them a few hours after dropping them off to see how the nail cutting went. This business engages in deceptive practices. They told me on the phone that the price for grooming my dog would be $82. After the grooming was done and I went to pick up my dog, they told me the price was $95 and refused to give me the price they had quoted over the phone. I will never use them again and I warn all Citysearch customers to stay away.

AWFUL!!!!! They do not know the difference between a puppy cut and a shave. Completely shaved my maltese (including ears and tail - WHO shaves a tail on a maltese) when asked for a puppy cut! Horrible, horrible! They need to know breed cuts! My maltese looks like a rat terrier! Never will return!

i get my dog groomed there and he comes home looking fresh and he is so happy afterwards.. running around just showing off.. i wouldn't get my dog groomed anywhere else because i love the staff they are very nice and it is a very dog friendly place.. my dog loves going there :) highly recommend

Not impressed. I dropped my dog off, warning them that he would need a muzzle. A few hours later, I get a call saying that they couldn't do anything with him after the wash and combout, because he tried to "attack them". My dog has never attacked anyone in his life! When I went to pick him up, I asked them if I could sit back there while they remuzzled him (for some reason they removed the muzzle after the bath) since he was nervous (he's been to the groomer before, but this was his first time to this one), but she said she ... read more

Do not take your dog here – I am very upset. Our dog who is ten years old has a beautiful fluffy fan type tail. He has always just had it trimmed slightly. He has been in to For Paws twice before and they never shaved his tail. I picked him up to see that it was completely shaved off. They never even called to ask us about it. They tried to say it was matted, well in ten years it never has been. God only knows how long it will take to grow back, we are very upset about it. I emailed them that I was very upset, no response. Disgraceful – The owner of this business cut part of my dog's tongue off. I was never told of the incident even after a couple of calls inquiring on why he was there so long. Once I got there to pick him up she told me he was "nicked" but was fine. I was charged over $40 dollars. When they finally did bring him out he was bleeding all over out of his mouth. After hours at home the bleeding stopped and I was able to finally see his tongue and realized nearly half of it was missing. I would never trust this place again based o... read more

HORRIBLE – Horrible, Horrible, Horrible...do not ever take your pet to this place. The part owner, Kelly, was by far one of the rudest individuals that I have ever encountered. I called a week ago asking if I could bring in my 13 week old bichon in to have her eyes cleaned up. The girl on the phone I spoke with asked a owner (my guess is Jamie) and she said that it would cost $15 and I could walk in at anytime during the normal business hours. Absolutely Awful – My parents took our dog in there twice. The 1st time he was nicked by the ears. We told them to be careful around his ears the second time and he was cut again. Big gash behind his floopy ear. Absolutely refuse to do anything to address the situation. Terrible service. THEY called it hot spots, but our dog never had this problem at any other groomer he has ever been to. I think I know a cut when I see it.
