a GEM! surrounded by about 3 different chain hotels is the precious Foothills Motel. Just making my way into California after driving in from the east coast, i needed to get a good nights sleep. I wanted a clean comfortable room that wouldn't be emptying my pocketbook. A man working at one of the chain hotels nearby recommended this motel, so we drove on over. The staff were very kind and personable. I got a wonderful room at a great AAA rate. We drove right up to our room (on the corner). The rooms are decorated beautifully... read more
