During the Eaton Canyon fires of early 2025, the only thing the management and Merwin did for the tenants was change the AC filters. Not only that, they used money to ask their lawyers for what was the bare minimum they had to do in order to not get sued. My family had an infant and when we were told it was "safe" to come back, nothing was done to assist us. We had to clean out the toxic soot and ash from within the apartment ourselves. Do not live here under any circumstances. We were stalked and harassed by another tenant while the "team" here did nothing. We moved out July 2020. Two years later we still do not have our security deposit back. According to California law we are now entitled to our full security deposit. Tell me why they tried to send me a $56 check a couple days ago (so well outside of the 21 day requirement) saying that the rest of our $2000 deposit was used for damages even though during our leaving walk through they said they saw no dam... read more
