I had a 15 minute visit with Dr. Clayton at which he cut off a callous off the inside of my big toe, gave me a toe protector. The bill was $2,800 charged to my insurance! I will have buy bc/bs investigate the charges which they paid.
Dr. Clayton was extremely personable, knowledgeable and understanding.
The doctor was very helpful and nice. They had me in and out quickly.
240 dollars for ankle brace that only costs 25 at the store is ridiculous. Actually, after receiving a response, I checked the company website. Billing 240 dollars for a 34.95 brace is so unethical. After insurance, my bill is close to 72 dollars. Crazy how you justify billing that amount to insurance.
