This is the first time I have ever left any type of review for a business! But, upon arriving to this office I was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and the vibe that I got from it initially. The doctor that I worked with, Dr. Julia Doi was incredibly off-putting and spoke to me/asked me questions in a very condescending way that made me super uncomfortable. The office was clean and welcoming, with great music that made the visit feel comfortable. the front desk ladies were very helpful easy check in I saw Dr.Julia Doi she was very helpful, kind, and straightforward. She really listened to me, explained everything clearly, and I never felt rushed or unheard.
Extremely disappointed with the lack of follow-through and professionalism. I came to the clinic after being referred by the VA for an ankle injury. I made it very clear that I needed documentation explaining my medical limitations for my job, and they assured me multiple times that the paperwork would be completed and sent the same day. Weeks later, I've received nothing. They also failed to send the referral for the medical boot and any supporting documentation to the VA, despite claiming they would. Dr. Modlin was amazing! First time coming to this practice and he was very informative and patient with all of my questions. You can truly tell he cares for his patients!
The front desk was extremely friendly with me. But, when I saw Julia Doi, that's where things changed. She wasn't that friendly at all and seemed to be annoyed by any questions I asked her regarding my ankle. Seems like a doctor who's there just for the paycheck and that's it. Very unfortunate how some doctors are so ignorant because they have a PhD.
