I went in with plantar fasciitis pain in my arch which was manageable at the time. After five minutes of consultation, I was given a steroid shot in my heel. They did not inform me of the potential side effects or educate me on other options. The effect of the shot lasted less than a month and then the pain migrated to my heel pad but this time the pain was tenfold. Dr. Sydnor has been my podiatrist for more than 20 years, and there is no one better. She has removed corns and calluses throughout the years, and helps immensely with the severe arthritis in my feet. She has fitted me with custom insoles and years later even sent me for an AFO brace when the midfoot arthritis pain became too much to bear. She’s exceptionally skilled at what she does. Girls in the office are friendly too.
