I've been going to this place since I was a child. Everytime time we go to the NYC we have to make the stop to bring some home. Biggest Gyros on the planet, family owned and friendly staff
One of my favorite spots. Be prepared to have garlicky breath after their tzaziki... but well worth it.
Great food large portions the soup is to die for also must try the roasted potatoes

I hadn't been to Fontana's since 1995~ was so happy to return today with my husband and introduce him to the Best Gyro in NY!!! Thank you for never changing :) Made me feel like I was back in high school eating my favorite meal! Always 5 Stars �
Food from here always makes me feel good, I go out of my way to eat here.
I've been eating this amazing food for almost 20 yrs. When I lived upstate I would get it when I stayed with my girl in Whitestone. Now I live in Hampton Bays and I either have someone bring it out or when I drive upstate to visit i always stop. JUST DELICIOUS AND ONE AMAZING STAFF ALSO
