Lately, this real estate company is not doing that well financially. Therefore, any house they sell is overpriced. Buyers are overcharged, commissions are high, hidden costs are many, and those "homes for sale" are not worth the price. For example, the house Jeff showed us a few days ago, needed at least more $100,000 in reparation fees. He presented it as a good investment but we left disappointed.
Probate requires timely entries by estate atty into file. Postponing date of death house appraisal week after week after week, I put up review on the unprofessionalism. Jeff called atty saying no DOD papers until removal of review! Took some money off due to being late in providing it, but his calling the atty several times over made the cost right back, higher. Do your job or don’t take the job on if you haven’t the time to meet timeframe set by you!
Throughout the entire process of selling our current home and buying new, and every hurdle we faced along the way, Jeff Fontaine (and his amazing wife Krissy) made sure we never doubted that our finish line was the new house and Fontaine Real Estate would handle the rest.
