Two dogs and they know them both, remember them, and treat them like family.
I recently moved to the area and after reading the positive reviews for Foundren online, I called to set up a physical for my dog. The receptionist on the phone was very rude and curtly told me they weren't accepting new patients. I think she might have thought I was a snowbird, but they lost a potential lifelong customer.

I am sorry if you felt our team member was curt or rude, or that you thought we were turning away snowbirds. Our policy during the last two winters, which is our busy season, is to not accept new clients because of our busy caseloads. This is a single-doctor general practice. We have long standing 10-20 year clients who require our professional medical expertise. We do maintain a waiting list if you would be interested.
In the hardest moment, when I had to put down my sweet boy Dr. Fondren and her staff were compassionate and caring, I will never forget that.
I have known Dr Fondren for most of my life, however it was not until she helped me save a dying puppy that I truly saw her care and compassion for what she does. The puppy she helped my save is now a beautiful 10 year old vizsla, Coco. In the past year Dr Fondren's diligence has once again saved my girl's life. If it wasn't for her being extra cautious, a large tumor in her spleen (thankfully benign) could have been missed/overlooked leaving the risk of it rupturing at any time. Fondren Pet Care has a great staff, a great clinic, and is lead by a great doctor! I have being bringing my pets here for 4 years and when I moved away from the area I still bring my pets here because you can't beat the quality and care they put in! Thank you for helping me keep my furry children healthy and happy!
