I called on 7/09. I have a contact stuck in my eye. After ten minutes on the phone, the receptionist said there were no doctors at this location. She gave me the number of their Carmichael location. I called, they couldn'help but suggested that they could make an appointment for me at their Sacramento location. Obviously they haven't ever been in this situation.

It's fine. It was much better before the corporate buyout. Now you hardly see a doctor - a tech does nearly everything. There is no longer price matching. I was able to save $120 on my co-pay by getting the prescription and taking to Costco. They used to price match but now everything is serving the investors pockets rather than taking care of the customer.

This place is chronically understaffed and provides poor customer service. Case and point: I had my prescription glasses ordered, that transaction went without a hitch. The poor service developed when they told me that glasses were ready; however, I had to make a separate appointment to collect the glasses. Fine, I made the appointment, showed up few minutes before my appointment, then the staff tells me that the optician is on lunch break and that if I wanted my glasses adjusted, I needed to wait beyond my time of appointme... read more
