I took in my ford focus to get some repairs on a very busy day and was greated by Jaye! He was very friendly and very helpful! He was great at communicating about what was needed and how long it will take! I am very appreciative of his customer service and friendliness on such a busy day! Thank you Jay and thank you Folsom Lake Ford service for getting us on the road again!! I will definitely be coming back again for all our repairs!!
This by far is the worst ford dealership I’ve ever been to, always have to wait an abnormally long time to get a service advisor and don’t bother filling out any information online about what you need done to your car because nobody reads it. Let’s start with I love Ford vehicles. I have no issue with them whatsoever. I do have an issue with Folsom Lake Ford however. Specifically, their service department. For context, my wife and I have 2 Ford vehicles. 1 owned and 1 leased. We took our Ford Explorer in for service at the dealership. We purchased a MaxCare warranty through Carmax about 1 year ago and had several service lights appear as well as a faulty trunk latch prompting us to take it to Ford for repair. Went into replace the plastic trim from the Side mirror that fell off. They insisted that i needed to replace the entire mirror assembly because it was damaged. I asked them to show me the damage, they proceeded to point at no damage in the mirror (there was no damage they just wanted to avoid it). Lastly quoted me $2000 to repair it as fords warranty wouldn't approve it so they aren't gonna go through warranty. I went to another dealer, they had it done in a day.
