We had our two kids’ birthday party at the YMCA Metropolitan gym yesterday, and it was absolutely fantastic! The space was clean, spacious, and perfect for energetic kids to run around and play. The staff was incredibly helpful, friendly, and accommodating—they made everything so easy from start to finish. The Foglia YMCA is a clean, well-maintained facility with friendly staff and a strong community atmosphere. However, there’s a recurring issue with timely repairs. The steam room in the men’s locker room has been out of order for over a month, and the sauna was not working during my visit today. While the facility overall is great, there doesn’t seem to be a sense of urgency when it comes to fixing things. A quicker response to maintenance issues would make a big difference.
