I had cataract surgery and the results were moderately successful - I was advised to come in 3 months when it "settled" for a check up. This happened 4 times, each time NO explanation / solution just to wait and come back in another 3 months "for it to settle". At the last appointment they charged me $300 because it had been a year since the procedure and was not considered a follow up anymore. unfortunately The problems were never resolved. . I had my eyes done about a year ago at Focus Eye Centre with Dr Richard Smith. I was recommended by a friend and came to Dr Smith with really bad eye sight (-9.5) and after a consultation I learned that I could have PRK surgery. I booked in immediately and about a month later had my surgery. The surgery was super quick and Dr Smith was very good and kept me feeling calm.
