Be careful with disability services there not always what they seem from the outside
My brother has an intellectual disability and really needs support in almost everything he does, much like a toddler but in a 26 year old body. Focus Day Options is an absolute God send! They pick him up in the morning and drop him off again in the late afternoon. He gets to have social interaction all day with other people living with a range of other disabilities. His favourite thing is the workers though. A couple of the ones he likes the most are the ex-army guys who are happy for him to talk about army stuff all day hah... read more
