Sadly, it’s difficult finding great counselors these days who are committed to the improvement and overall wellbeing of their clients. My counselor did not show up for my counseling session today without any communication or notice. This is unfortunate and triggering as I already deal with issues related to people not standing on their commitments. I will be discontinuing services. Jummy is a wonderful counselor. She helped me navigate through my depression and helped me to understand my diagnosis in a clear and accepting way.
This review is for Yvonne. I am actually in tears right now. I was referred to her though a larger group to help people struggling with funds to find mental health help.She was very gruff from the start. I was having trouble figuring out paperwork online and when I told her I didn't have a printer she said well then you should find a new therapist.
