the only good thing about here was the location, our room was filled with cockroaches was disgusting room 33. would never stay here again

I recently stayed at Focus Apartments with four others. The apartment was spacious but overall it was old and dirty, in places. The windows were filthy and mildew in the showers. Rug stained and the glass table is a safety issue. We had booked it because it had a pool, which turned out to be closed. Nothing was said at booking and the information sheet said nothing about it being closed. The receptionist said, "Walk over the road to the beach." This was said with no compassion. Very unlucky to stay in this awful apartment, all the facilities are too old to meet industry standard, walked into the room with odous and the smell throughout the whole apartment, the kitchen has strong smell of curry, we complained with the manager, he promised to get someone clean it and spray the air fresh but did not happen. The carpet looks very old and dirty that we didn't want to walk on, the cushions are old and smelly, all the curtains are old and dirt can stick on your hand when touch on it. Excellent service. Clean. Cheap. old .and nasty. Booked a room with 2 bathrooms and can only use one shower the whole trip . Between 5 of us.Very helpful nice staff but the owners shouldn't get away with this. The rusty oven stopped working. They expect people to shower in their own shit.
