I shopped builders. Giving a unbiased view. Focal Point gave me a price if you do not make any changes (which is impossible in the build process). It seems reasonable compared to other builders. In the process, it became apparent that if you want to change anything, there is markup, which makes sense but the markup on some of these changes exceeded 8 times of what it costs. I have only the highest compliments and level of satisfaction for Focal Point Homes – Remarkably fast paced build no doubt to entire team’s organization and coordination with both in-house and sub-contractors, keen attention to details, no cutting corners to stay within budget, project manager was accommodating, organized and enjoyable to work with, overall an excellent experience working with everyone at Focal Point. I only wish I had another home to build with them.

Building a house is the single biggest investment I will ever make. And the only reason I felt comfortable making that investment was because of Focal Point. In 2019 we bought a 1958 house in McLean, and lived in it 18 months before it started falling apart: sewer backed up, roof leaked, and HVAC started dying.
