Creative, interesting, quaint, pretty good food. We had a couple things that were epic. For example carrot salad, that eats like a chicken wing. We also had a couple things that kind of just felt meh, like a sausage pasta that was just not that well balanced and for $37 it should be banging. Would send my parents there, but not sure I’d go back tbh Our waiter was a sweetheart.
Had a reservation, but I woke up sick the day of, called to cancel so I wouldn’t show up ill in a small dining room, and we did not dine. FnB kept the full deposit anyway, robotically citing a 24-hour policy as if there’s no difference between a casual no-show and a guest staying home sick to protect their staff and other customers. A great restaurant!
Seated outside in the courtyard and atmosphere was great. Focaccia bread, roasted squash and steak were the standouts. Sea bass was fishy and did not taste that fresh. Chocolate date cake was a bit dry.
