Given i have been to Marrakech for the sixth time it's apparent I absolutely love this country let alone Jemaa el-Fna. It never ceases to make me smile. It has its fair share of haggles, harassing from the musicians and henna traders but if you go with the flow, smile and keep moving you'll love it.
