I am sharing this review under a name that protects my privacy, but my experience is genuine. I previously worked under the Flyland Recovery Network umbrella, and they own a total of eight recovery centers and one virtual program. My husband was admitted to this horrible place (specifically Ember Recovery Center in the Flyland network) 2 days ago. He is suffering from alcoholism and is motivated to get better. This place was dirty, staff was rude, and he had to tell them he refuses the sedatives this morning so he could stay awake. Guess they like their patients drugged so they can't see exactly what's going on there. My wife was sent to Kandela in Boca Raton FL. WARNING. Do NOT send anyone here. My wife reached out to this facility after suffering from mental health issues. We spoke to Noah and Austin right away. We are in Ohio and was given advice to take her to Florida. They paid for her flight and made us sign a waiver we’d pay it back in 12 months. This all happened in less than 30 hours. I had previously spoken over the phone with a kind man who explained their services, and after reading the reviews I decided this was not a good fit. I called the number again today to let them know I wasn’t going forwards with the plan and chose to go through another service. Upon calling, the man I spoke to asked what other service I had chosen instead and I responded asking if I had to answer that.
