Experienced my first South Carolina boil (much like a Louisiana Crawfish boil) at a solid seafood restaurant. Love it when a restaurant offers local brews, so I tried a New South Brewing Co White Ale. This draft was light with a nice wheat body and slight citrus flavor. Great food every time.
My wife and I ate here Wednesday night. The fish in the case was in very poor shape. The 20# blue fish was probably 2 weeks old. The eyes were sunken and white. The other fish in the case, Beeliners and I think silver snapper, were not much better. Otherwise our experience was great at first. Our server, Aaron was great. We sat on the deck. AWESOME! Here from NJ. Great food & beer. Our party has scallops, flounder, salmon, swordfish, and a burger. SO happy you were able to accommodate my son's peanut & tree nut allergy. Woodrow was a fabulous server. It was so good, we may be back tomorrow. 🙂
