I’ve lived at Flux for close to three years now, so I’ve seen a lot of the comments online and honestly my experience has been pretty different from some of the negative stuff that pops up. First off, the location is one of the best parts of living here. Being downtown means you can walk pretty much everywhere — restaurants, coffee shops, the sculpture park, bars, etc. I rarely need to drive which is a huge plus. I had an outstanding experience working with Cara Sondrol. From our very first interaction, she was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making sure I felt confident in my decision. I would like to shout out Flux’s property manager Cara she goes above and beyond making sure her tenants are comfortable and happy. Cara treats everyone with the upmost respect and she genuinely cares about her tenants well-being! We are so lucky to have Cara as our property manager here at Flux. I definitely say if anyone is looking for a new space to live definitely check out Flux. The community here is very nice everyone is so friendly!
Cara was wonderful in helping us get situated during the worst time of the year—Mercury retrograde over the past few months! Despite technical issues, she pushed through and got us exactly where we needed to be. If I could ask for one thing as a new resident, it would be a tour. Finding things on my own is something I’m great at; however, this place is massive and the nicest building I’ve lived in since childhood, so it can be a bit intimidating. Extremely disappointing. The surrounding area is very dangerous, making it difficult to enter and exit the building comfortably. On top of that, the owners were surprisingly rude. Any time we asked simple questions, like where certain amenities were located, they responded by yelling at us aggressively rather than helping. It made the entire experience uncomfortable and stressful. Overall, I would not recommend staying here. There are definitely better, safer, and more welcoming options elsewhere.
