My wife arrived there to meet old friend from Missouri. She is from Cedar Rapids. When they checked in at 4pm at 90 degrees the Ac was not working. Took them until next day to have it repaired. They had known it wasn’t working. Had to find their old musty towels still in the dryer. Found a pair of men’s underwear and shorts on a window ledge. No tissue boxes anywhere. Homeless shelter next door was pleasant. Extremely loud freight train passing behind building regularly. Enjoy!
We had an incredibly disappointing experience at this apartment complex. After we moved out, they hit us with a $13,000 bill, including false charges like damage to the elevator, which we did not cause. Per Iowa law, it’s the landlord’s responsibility to maintain the property, including elevators, so this charge is baseless and unacceptable. We lived in a 2-bedroom apartment at Flux for just over 3 years and will miss it now that we’ve moved away. There are so many things we loved about our time there! Our apartment was spacious, had a great kitchen, and amazing natural light from the big windows. The building is secure, well maintained, and well managed.
