Today is postop day 2 for me for having my wisdom teeth taken out. I am not the usual young demographic for this kind of procedure and would consider myself to be at greater risk for complications or prolonged healing because of my age. I got all my wisdom teeth out here and the surgery was fine but I woke up from the general anesthesia towards the end and was very disoriented. I made it clear to them that I was awake by opening my eyes and moving and nobody said anything at all to me unless it was just while I was waking and I cant remember it. I was in pain and could feel them cutting up my tooth and yanking pieces out and my mouth being stretched also hurt. My daughter’s wisdom tooth extraction was done very well. It was painless, and the recovery was smooth and clean without any complications. Dr. Linda Hwang was incredibly kind and explained every step of the procedure clearly, which helped my daughter feel at ease without fear. All of the staff were also very friendly.
