They were my freight broker for a load I just delivered. The customer would not unload me for 6 days due to lack of warehouse room. FLS surprisingly compensated me $200 a day for each of the 6 days. Finally, a freight broker with some decency! This is unfortunately the exception to the rule in this industry. The load also paid above the average in the area. I drive for Cadence Premier Cargo Inc. This company is the worst I booked a load with my dispatcher with them got all the way to the shipper with BOL in hand just for them to tell me they couldn't find it so one of the guys in the warehouse called CH robinson to see what was going on and was informed that the load wasn't even there told my dispatcher and all the broker had to say was Hate to inform you, this freight is picking up from Des Plaines, not Ellenwood, we messed up So time and gas was wasted and they not gonna pay for they mistake...
Don't believe anything these people tell you. I hauled a low-paying load from them and the shipper took hours to load me, leaving me with only 3 hours of drive time, after which I had to take my 10 hours sleeper. The broker has a fit, telling me if I didn't make it to the receiver by 10:00 am the next day I wouldn't get unloaded till the following Monday. If you as a carrier love to waste time and money, then partner with these guys lol. They will skimp out of detention pay for 3 minutes of tardiness. Honestly if you love to wait on responses for days then you will love how they get back to you when it comes to detention. 3 days we had to wait for them to just tell us that our 8 wasted hours won’t be compensated for. Nate is also stellar at being useless btw. Great company if your goal is to waste time and money👍
