This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I ordered flowers for a very special occasion that was meant to be a surprise for my wife. When placing the order online, I clearly requested delivery between 10 AM and 12 PM. Nobody acknowledged that request. Absolutely unacceptable. My husband spent so much money on a peony bouquet for my birthday, and when he got home , I unwrapped it, I was shocked. One of the peonies literally fell apart in my hands because the stem was rotten. Most of the flowers were already wilted, and many of the leaves were brown and dying. These were clearly not fresh flowers. We live less than 10 minutes from the shop, so this had absolutely nothing to do with transportation. Very pleasant experience. Service was good and the sales rep made sure to work within my budget and preferences. There is same day delivery service as well.
I called to order a bouquet for my daughter who graduated the FDNY. The bouquet was more than I expected and absolutely beautiful! We had so many compliments on the flowers. I need to thank Bernards so much for going above and beyond for us. With all the chaos of getting ready I totally forgot to pick them up. The gentleman was so understanding and accommodating that he personally delivered them to my door. I absolutely recommend Bernards and look forward to doing buisness there in the near future!
Flowers by Bernard is the best florist on the island. I visit them multiple times per year and they never disappoint. Whether I order ahead or show up when I need flowers they are always ready for the challenge. Highly recommend this neighborhood small business. Top notch flowers, very kind and professional.
