4/27/26 I went to the office to put in our notice to vacate. I spoke to Cindy. She was so rude. She said I was still under contract and I would be responsible for paying through September. I have ben here 3 years and didn't sign a new lease. She says it auto renews. I should read my contract and that's just the way it is. I told her this can't be correct. Save yourself time and headaches and don't grab an apartment in Flowergate. To begin with, the women in the offices are rude (Cindy) they do not hesitate to yell at you or talk to you in a bad way starting with the property manager (I don't know what her name is). Poor training leads to negative experiences for residents, and every issue I encountered could have been prevented. Being asked by Cindy, the rental agent, whether I understood how a transfer works—when she clearly did not know the process herself—was unprofessional and frustrating. On 4/6, Cindy told me I would receive a notice confirming that my transfer was canceled. As of 4/9, I still had not received that notice. They have roaches that’s you will have to exterminate yourself cause they spray and that doesn’t solve anything I had to get my own stuff to get rid of them. Also the property manager Laura is very rude and smart by the mouth. They discriminate against people of color.
