One star for the beautiful flowers. No stars for this cafe. No toilet, no gluten-free food, my friend paid five dollars for a one bite treat. I had to continually ask staff for milk for my pot of tea. Staff were very unfriendly.
Very disappointing experience. This florist accepted and confirmed our funeral flower order, provided a quote, and received approval to proceed — only to cancel via email a couple of days later without even making a phone call. This left our family scrambling to organise funeral flowers only days before the service during an already incredibly stressful time. Lovely flowers nice cafe as well
We’ve been coming to this café for years and recently decided to visit again after the change in management. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. While drinking my coffee, I found a fly in it. When we brought it back, we were told ‘how long have you been sitting here, we won’t replace it—if you want a new one, you’ll need to pay for it.’ We found this response quite rude and unprofessional. I’d been going to Flower Girls for around six years and always loved its charm and cosy atmosphere. When I noticed the new name and redesign, I was curious and decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, it seems to have lost what made it special. It now feels more like a standard takeaway with a slightly nicer backdrop. The sandwiches were bland and uninspiring, and the one I ordered came with crisps that were stale.
