Went to a birthday party here. Friend brought her own cake for her daughter who had allergies . They wouldn't let them use the cake they had special made for her. They had to use the food Lion cupcakes this place proved instead. Birthday girl had to wait until after her own party to eat cake outside. Overall the experience was ok. For a bunch of 6/7 yo it was entertaining and safe. The entire cake incident makes not a place I'd recommend especially the price you pay for a party. I could not be more impressed with Flour Power Cary Parkside, and with Jacob, the owner! My 10 year old, baking obsessed, daughter participated in camp last summer and absolutely adored it! She learned so much, and had the best time interacting with her instructors and classmates. This year, Flour Power is the only camp that my daughter wanted to return to. This location must be under new ownership. My daughter used to love camp here, but this summer when she attended it was different. The kids said they did not participate as actively in the recipes as they have in the past. More just watched counselors cook. Also, they said they played a lot of YouTube throughout the day. They used to watch a little bit of a movie in the afternoon, but that was it. I don’t pay for camp for my kids to watch YouTube all day. This camp is so expensive and it used to be worth it, but not anymore.

My girl's party was great! All the kids had fun and made delicious kitty shaped pizza and cookies. Staff was so nice, well organized, entertaining and had such good energy! Definitely will do again. Thank you Flour Cooking Studios

My son really enjoyed his cooking class here! The business was clean. The staff we interacted with during class were friendly. Unfortunately, communication could be better — the business isn’t very responsive when it comes to answering the phone or returning voicemails. I also stopped in once during an off time and wasn’t greeted and there was an awkward pause before I received help, which didn’t sit well with me. The owner and a young male were there at that time.
