Both takeout orders and sit down seating are available. Decorated with plastic nautical knick-knacks and littered with picnic tables to accommodate outside eaters, Flo's is a casual beachside restaurant. Inside, there is a full bar and the view of the beach from the upstairs balcony is the perfect place to watch the sunset. Cash only.

No clams in the clam cakes and the chowder is awful and runny.
Not sure why all the "Five Stars". This is the Newport location, For $22 I expected a few more fried clams than I got. They were over cooked and chewy. Coleslaw was not edible, absolutely no dressing on it. Live and learn, never again. Friend got the fish and chips. He was not impressed, too much batter on fish. Plus they got the order wrong, ordered 3 meals, only 2 were cooked.
I'm From Newport Born & Raised & Iv Been To Flos A lot! Today Was So Disappointing! I Love Stuffies & These Where The Worst Iv EVER Had! Bland! Cold & A Waste Of Money For Sure! Hamburger Tasted Like McDonald's! Sad Because I Love Seafood! And Y'all Are Known For Good Seafood! Sorry Guys Big Waste Of Money Today! Maybe Next Time!
Best fried claims I've ever had. Don't mind the travel to get there
Came here after watching "The best thing I ever ate" on the cooking channel. They were not kidding, hands down the best fish and chips and fried clam roll I have ever eaten.
The food is excellent! And the 2nd level gives you an excellent view of the ocean!
This is the first time I was disappointed at Flo's. The clams which are normally the best around were all stuck together. Yes, there were the normal single clams but I had at least 5 in which there were 2-3 clams that had been cooked together. I tried to pull them apart to get through this but with no luck. I then decided I would cut them with a knife & low & behold there were no knives to cut with. Other than they were still tasty but I will be looking for something closer to home and a little less pricey.

I have been going to Flo's since I was a little girl many years ago! I now go with my family and bring my 5 year old Hannah with me. We all absolutely love it there!!!
