2 miles off shore low-level without floats...??? Seems like not the best idea for any operation. I don't think floats would've helped too much in 7' swells out there, plus a pilot flying dangerously low, while having passengers on board. Glad to hear that at least the passengers made it out safely. Suncoast Helicopters calls it a "bird strike" that resulted in the crash?! I would call it settling-with-power and pilot error, while turning into a tail wind only 3' over the water... but that's just me. Plenty to read about this... read more
Beware of owner and his son! Extreme temper and gets aggressive with customers if something doesn’t go their way. Stay way!!
RecommendedThey did a great job! It was my first ride in a helicopter and they made me feel very safe and I had a lot of fun! Would recommend to anyone who’s not afraid of heights.
Professional flight instructors, sparkling facility, well maintained aircraft, a top Robinson dealer, comfortable couches and best of all free coffee. Tours or flight training, this is the place in Sarasota to go.
