I would leave 0 stars if I could. This has to be the worst utility company in the state or even in the whole country. I have dealt with them as a residential and commercial customer and they always make mistakes, take forever to get back to you. Their phone and customer services systems are awful and in general has been a terrible experience with them. I wish there was not a monopoly in Florida where you could choose one or two more carriers.

The toll-free customer service is terrible. When it asks why you're calling and you say anything like "I need to talk to a representative" or any variation of that, it says "That option is not available." Then it forces you to sit through descriptions of 6 options, before you can choose the 6th option of "something else." Then it make you sit through 5 more options before you can choose the last option of "something else." Then it says it will give you the next available agent. I really appreciate FPL electricians — they respond fast after hurricanes and keep the power running well. But the website is terrible. As a rental property manager, every time I try to use it, it’s a struggle. Calling isn’t much better — the wait times are way too long. Disappointing to see such poor online service in the age of AI.
