Had a great time today! Thank you for all you do and to the volunteers who took the time to talk to our kids about sealife, nature and conservation.

I visited this gem a little over a year ago. The staff was super friendly and informative. I had no idea about the small things we can do to help nesting/baby sea turtles (ex. Knocking down sandcastles after the kiddos are finished playing, filling in holes in the sand and selecting paper or no straws when you’re at a restaurant). The nominal admission fee goes to support the society’s mission. No matter what your age, you will have a blast visiting the Florida Oceanographic Society!!

My grandsons have fished the young angler tournament the last two years. It is free and runs 3 months. Best tournament the boys have ever participated in! We have two young boys that will now be fishers for life! Zack Judd does an awesome job running this program! Thank you!

We were looking for something fairly quick, but still fun and enriching for my four year old. We had a blast! It is small, we didn’t do the whole nature trail as it was very hot, but it was the perfect size to bounce back and forth between exhibits.

The Florida Oceanographic Society was huge hit with our family. There was something for everyone from 2 to 62. The staff was wonderful and eager to answer all our questions. Very knowledgeable. This place is a local treasure and very worthwhile visiting.
