My husband recently had a stroke and needed to follow up with a neurologist. My niece had previously gone to this practice and had a good experience. So I figured lets give him a try. I called countless time and no one answered the phone (should've been a red flag). So, I decided to walk in and make the appointment. No one calls you back. Don't bother.
Robert Rahe, PA-C is THE BEST medical provider I have ever seen. He took my concerns seriously from the very first visit. He listened, asked questions, and made me feel seen and heard. Instead of dismissing my symptoms, he took the time to understand the whole picture and investigate what was going on. I've seen many doctors and specialists over the years, and have never had such a good experience. His compassion, thoroughness, and willingness to listen made a tremendous difference in my care.
I strongly recommend considering another neurology office instead of the Orange City / Lake Mary location. This practice is extremely difficult to communicate with, as it is nearly impossible to reach a live person by phone. If you do not know the name of your nurse practitioner or physician, getting assistance becomes even more challenging. Calls are often not returned within the stated 24–48 hour timeframe. While referrals are sent out, patients are not notified if their insurance denies the referral. This leaves patients ... read more
