I am so tired of Florida Medical Clinic. I am a patient at the location on 46th street, which is about 35 minutes from my home. It's pretty inconvenient. So, when my doctor ordered a thyroid ultrasound for me, I asked if it would be ok for me to schedule with the office on MLK. They said that was fine. I called the front desk at this Central Tampa location and explained that I would like to schedule my ultrasound with this location if they performed them AND possibly switch to their office for care in general given that it i... read more
There was a 10 minute grace period and I was stuck in traffic. I was in the office 10 minutes late. The front desk decided to say I was 11 so they wouldn’t have to see me. I have been so kind with them because they have had to reschedule me multiple times. Do not go here do not see Dr. Jessica Valenti. I have had to work around her schedule for cancellations but she would not even honor her 10 minute window. The front desk worker was inconsiderate and did not inform the doctor I walked in at the 10 minute mark as well.
Short waiting time, clean office, friendly staff. The nurse that did my bloodwork was gentle and attentive, and was able to find my vein right away, which is a first for me. Great experience.
I have not had my 1st appointment as of yet. However I was impressed with the young lady on the phone who scheduled my new patient appointment today with Dr Sanz de la Pena Endocrinologist. Her name was Dawn she was amazing and very professional. Answered all my questions and concerns with patience. She made me feel welcome and I felt comfortable speaking with her. I love the facility and the doctors there. The staff is friendly and very attentive as well. Very easy to get an appointment and check-in process is very easy, I do it via my cell phone. Great location and parking available.
