The neurology clinic does not care about patient safety or follows informed consent ethical practices. The office and provider failed to disclose to my mother’s husband and myself (her adult daughter who is also part of her HIPA & PHI) of an Alzheimer’s diagnosis, only solely communicating with the patient who has documented memory loss. Absolutely horrified at this offices staff. I called over a month ago and confirmed they were taking new patients for a test my podiatrist ordered. I faxed the order over several times and they never received it. Finally I was given access to their portal to upload the order. I was told it would be processed within 72 hours. A week passed, I called, was told they just received it that day, when I confirmed that the portal indicated they had the message a week prior. Im giving it a 2 start cause I like the doctor but if you staff sucks and its rude . For me is not worth it. I have tried to reach my doctor several times the Hold is over 20 minutes and then the send you to a VM that no ever calls you back. I have been waiting for a refill for night pill for over 3 weeks I has told Monday when I finally reached someone. That it will be send to my pharmacy and it Wednesday still no refill not to mention they canceled my follow up that I waited for 2 months for MRI results with out telling me... read more
I wanted to double-check on my next follow appointment so I called the neurology office I was told that Melissa Miranda is no longer with the practice and Dr Gonzalez is not seeing patience anymore and that this new doctor is not seeing any of the existing patients so that means many many many many people need to find a new neurologist with no notification from the office. This is absolutely unacceptable.
