Poor customer service and misinformation.
Dr. Trzmeilina and her staff are wonderful. She is very thorough and caring. The reason I have rated the practice poorly is the ophthalmology office. I was referred to Dr. Diego... I wear glasses. I like going to an ophthalmologist because they do a full exam of the eye including vision. When I was scheduling an appointment I was alerted that in addition to my co-pay there would be a $60 surcharge to write my eye glass prescription as vision is optometry not ophthalmology. Stay away from this clinic! They only care about making money. They do not care about patients and their health. Even when they are the ones who made the mistake of turning off the messaging feature in order to contact me for future appointments they blame it on me and Expect me to pay no-show fees When I have never had a history of no-shows. I have been a patient with FMC for many years and highly recommend them as a whole, but I cannot recommend this office. I got turned around in traffic on my way there and ended up getting there 15 minutes prior to my appointment instead of the recommended 30. They refused to see me, then marked on my patient portal that I was a no call/no show. I definitely showed up and was still EARLY for my appointment, but no, no flexibility whatsoever.
