Center is easy to find. Friendly and knowledgeable staff and volunteers. Facility very clean and up to date. Staff is very good and make sure you are comfortable.
Not pleasant
My appointment was at 5:45 in the afternoon it was a little confusing because there was nobody at the front desk and it was past 5:45 and I didn't know if I should call the number on the sign that was posted or just wait. Someone told me that if I checked in at the front desk I did not need to call the number. My only suggestion would be possibly to make that a little more clearer . The staff was wonderful and it was very efficient.
I just got home from spending eight days there. My only real complaint from my stay is that my wound VAC dressings couldn’t be changed for almost five days because the wound nurse was on vacation. I completely understand staff needing time off, and I don’t blame anyone personally, but it was really hard on me physically and emotionally. I mentioned it to several nurses, and by the time it was finally changed, my skin was so raw from the drainage sitting under the tape that it honestly hurt in a way I can’t even describe.
