I went there for ER while I was sick with flu or virus. The service is quick and smoothly but big problem is when I got the Advent Health bill by the mail and I was so stocked that they charged 2x to 3x more than normal. Example: IV therapy- General cost whopping $2538.00! Should be like $100 to $500 for IV. Also 5 more on the list end up also $12 thousand! I only stayed there for like 4 hours. Had a great experience with Dr. Kristen, she was very nice and made me feel comfortable during my entire visit.
I will never use AdventHealth again. The APRN who treated me for strep throat and an ear infection asked if I wanted a Covid test to rule it out but she did not inform me that test was no longer offered for free. I’ve been fighting with AdventHealth about this for the past 5 months. They insist on me paying for that Covid test. It’s the principle of the matter that the APRN did not inform me there would be a cost.
The check-in procedure online was very easy. I waited very little and the appointment was on time. Dr. Harrington was extremely friendly knowledgeable really made me feel like she cared about how I felt She also followed up the next day to make sure I was doing OK which I think was very Appreciated When you get sick and it’s hard to get an appointment with your primary right away this is an excellent option. It also cost way less than my primary charges for a regular office visit
Worst service experience ever.
