Quick efficient and great staff.
Great place: clean, courteous and attentive staff and very knowledgeable doctors.
I went to my appointment with a referral from my doctor. It included my insurance information. They verified my benefits prior to my appointment. However, they refused to see me because I didn’t have a copy of my insurance card! They didn’t care that I was in pain and clearly covered by insurance. UNBELIEVABLE! Heartless!
Had problems with both hands for years. Not completely fixed yet, but 95% better. I have a new life.
I do not recommend this place if you need an X-ray or think your hand could be broke . My 4yr old was referred there for a possible broken finger. The doctor told us that it wasn't broken and even if it was there was nothing that could be done. We went for another opinion and not only did The Florida Hand Center miss one but MULTIPLE fractures in his entire hand. Will never ever send anyone here if they are having issues with their hands. Dr Helgemo is the best, & him being an avid cyclist and understanding the needs of fellow athletes, is a plus.
