If I could give zero stars, I would. After learning that several homeowners had received lien notices from suppliers and subcontractors, I became concerned and simply requested that Florida Elite Roofing provide lien waivers from the material supplier and subcontractor before performing any work on my property. God only knows when this nightmare with Florida Elite Roofing is finally going to end. We've been dealing with this mess for 4–5 months, and we've already paid them $20,000. Now no one answers the phone at their office, and today someone from the company called us and told us they are filing for bankruptcy. We are devastated, stressed, and completely overwhelmed. Me and my husbands experience with Florida Elite Roofing was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a contractor. From the beginning, we were given inaccurate and conflicting information regarding permits, contract terms, and the status of our project. This was hands down the worst contractor experience I have ever had in my life. From the very beginning, I felt misled about the timeline, the permitting process, and what was actually going to be done on my roof.
