I have met twice with Dr. Singletary in the Venice office and it was a wonderful experience! He explains things extremely well and listens to my concerns and addresses all of them. He expedited the scheduling of two procedures. I was called by the staff within two days With all of the information I needed for tests prior to the procedures, the prescriptions for blood tests, even the addresses for where I could get the blood blood test done. The Dr.is fine the office staff not so much. Twice in a year I arrived for my appointment. Both time I brought the card made out by the recptionpist with the proper date. Twice the ridiculous the most ridiculous women said I wasn't on the schedule. Allegedly she spoke with the Dr. and he said basically too bad. I traveled from Nort Port to his Venice for nothing. In fact I think she was amused with my predicament. Word to the wise my friends, word to the wise.

I have been waiting 10 days for my stress test results and had difficulty reaching the office, as calls were repeatedly answered by an automated service. When I finally spoke with Dr. Singletary’s nurse Cindy her response was unprofessional and dismissive—she told me that if I wasn’t happy with the cardiologist svc I should return to my previous one, then abruptly hung up on me. Not a review, for this group in particular. I just want to recommend everyone shop around for whatever tests you need. Market/cash price for an echocardiogram is $250. Some places will charge $2000 or $3000 through insurance. Do your research, not just for yourself but for medical industry in general. Fair prices will only be offered when people dont let themselves be scammed.
