Editing to say that I just spoke with Izzy and that’s the most helpful person that I’ve interacted with during the past 7 months. I applied for my autonomous license in January. I am permanently moving to Florida. I spent 2 hours on hold waiting for help with transferring my license. I was talked to like an idiot for having questions and even needing help. Then the representative hung up on me without verifying all my questions were answered. If this is how the Florida board represents itself this is a joke. I have never had so many issues calling a state agency. I still have unanswered questions and regret my decision to move to Florida if this is how the board operates.

My experience with Florida State Board of Nursing has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. When you call for guidance, they transfer you from one person to another without providing clear answers. On multiple occasions, they’ve hung up on me, and emails go unanswered. I even traveled from Orlando to Tallahassee hoping to get help in person, but the service was just as unhelpful.
