Arguably the hardest, most difficult and tedious process I have ever gone through to get my license activated from another state. I would give ZERO stars to the telephone service. For months I was on hold for HOURS at a time just to get hung up on. When I finally did get through I couldn’t get any clarity on what was going on with my application and why it was taking so long. Finally, I drove to the physical office and that is the ONLY reason I’m giving 4 stars because I was able to receive the assistance I needed. I drove 3 hours. This is another example of how screwed up FL state is. I have called for 4 days, all day. They put you on hold. In about an hour on hold they hang up on you. This process continues all day for 4 days. No one calls you back if you leave message. You pay of a license and should at least get service. We need new leaders in Florida State.

The first time I called I was on hold for over 2 hours. The second time I called I was on hold for an hour. I did speak with somebody briefly the first time they told me that there was no one available and the Board of Nursing to speak with and to call back the following day I never did get through because as a provider I have a job and obviously cannot afford to be on hold forever on the telephone. Just spent almost 30 minutes on the FLBON phone line with AI trying to get a few simple questions answered that are not on the website. After spending all my time in a continuous loop and finding that you have to listen to the complete diatribe answer from AI on what it interprets is your question (but was not on 6+ attempts), I tried to get in the cue for an actual live person only to find the wait time was 41 minutes.
