DO NOT GO TO FLORIDA BEHAVIORAL!!! Worsts office staff of any business I have ever dealt with. Neither I nor the pharmacy can contact the doctor, I’ve been having seizure now because I can’t fill my meds. If been a patient for 4 years, I’m done.

Yeah... No... Just no. I'm still not sure if the doctor was listening to me or checking his E-mail. I know they are not therapist and just for pills. But, some eye contact would have been nice.
My doctor requested my medical records Jan 20th, 22nd, and Feb 19th. I was instructed to fill out a form to have the records sent as well, by the front desk. I emailed it back, per the email instructions "You have just asked us to help you with your mental health records. I will send you a medical release form and if you could please fill it out completely and email it back to us. Please remember to add the fax number to who I am sending the records to. Dr. James Free, DO is an inappropriate, incompetent, and unprofessional psychiatrist. The entire staff of Florida Behavioral Medicine in Largo, FL are abusive, condescending, and highly unintelligent, but the worst of all is Free's medical assistant, Sydney. I am confident she does not have a high school diploma as you'll be able to tell from her voicemail alone, which you will only ever reach when trying to contact the office. OK. The office staff is busy but professional and polite. I don't have any problems with them. Doctors are terrific!
f you are looking for the following, this is the place for you: Treated rudely at first time visit by front receptionist Wait 10 mins on hold every time you phone in Promised return phone calls and never hear back Have to pay $$ up front even if you have 2 excellent insurance plans Make 5 phone calls trying to get your money reimbursed
DO NOT ENTER!!! The most unprofessional and incompetent office staff I've ever dealt with. Had to make two trips today for my husband's prescription becuz the medical assistant NEVER told me they couldn't give it to me without the bottle of his current prescription. I waited on hold for almost 15 minutes just to ask for the script then she lied when I got there and said she told me I couldn't get the prescription without turning in his old meds.
