We had such a lovely experience here during the week. My partner and I came in looking for flowers to take to her mum, who I was meeting for the first time that weekend. The first lady who helped us take the order was absolutely wonderful. I needed flowers for a special occasion and asked around for recommendations so I could deal with the florist directly. I live in another state. The flowers delivered were pretty and appeared in very good condition (from the photo). The recipient loved them and that is the main objective. However, dealing with the florist directly, asking for something 'funky and special' and being guided by their price suggestions, resulted in nothing more than an arrangement that I would find in any florist showroom.
