This year, I got married so I had to move away. I never realized how good I had it with Dr. Miguel Flores. Yes, sometimes his appts are short, but he has a great new prescriber working with him. And his medical assistant is amazing and kind. Dr. Flores saved me from addiction. Properly diagnosed me. And I definitely took him for granted. I do not understand why Dr.Flores is so cold with me. What did I do wrong?.
I can't believe the reviews when I realize dr. Flores saved my life. I was at an all-time low crisis. I called him at 10 30 at night to which he advised I be in his office at 8 a.m. as I was. He listen to me, diagnosed me appropriately, and offered help. He saw me very frequently and was more than kind, compassionate oh, very caring and concerned. WORST DOCTOR I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. He is the psychiatrist of the psych ward at Palmetto General Hospital. He does not look you in the eyes. His sessions last a total of 3-5 minutes. If you try speaking with him a second more, he will call you impulsive and tell you that the longer you do this, the longer you will stay in the psych ward. He lies to you about calling your family. He has his social workers talk with the family. Then he takes the cliff notes and he nags to you about your shortcomings, then tells you that your... read more
I think Dr. Flores is a great doctor. He sees a lot of patients and I'm thankful that I can be his patient . It's not easy to do what he does. I appreciate him very much.
I thought I had a good doctor-patient relationship with Dr. Flores. Not true. He changed and treated me with lack of compassion.
Dr. Miguel Flores treated me. My experience is that he does not care for his patients the way he should; I am glad that I no longer see him.
Terrible doctor. Runs his office like a drug dealer. Gets you hooked on his drugs than demands his money . A disgrace to the profession.
He didn't seem to listen to what I was saying. He said to try illegal drugs to deal with my anxiety. Where did his Hippocratic oath go? I went to him in hopes that he would help me with my anxiety, but what I got was a "doctor" who was just in a hurry to see other patients. Save yourself the visit, and try to find a psychatrist who is actually trying to help you and not milk you for a co-payment.
