Good Food, Nice Owner My husband and I have gone to this restaurant many times over the years and we have always enjoyed ourselves. The food is very good and the atmosphere is warm, rustic and cozy. The owner (Joe) has changed styles quite a bit over the years and each style has been successful in its own way. I like the current style the best. As for Joe, I especially enjoy how he roams the room and greets customers. He makes you feel very welcome.
Florentine's Downtown Grill This place has changed a lot over the years, but I think they finally got it right. The atmosphere is a bit more sophisticated than the rest of SoCo. Excellent entrees with a good bar make this a great dinner experience. Good customer service.
Great Happy Hour Florentine's has come a long way over the last few years. They have excellent service, food, and drinks. I love to come here for happy hour and have appetizers and martinis. Their martinis are really good and they have a long list of them to choose from!
Nice Night I had a great time at the small but enjoyable restaurant. The food was home made and the wine selection was descent. I would recommend them for a nice quite evening out.
Terrific! – We had a group of 16 and service was terrific--reservations accepted and tables ready when we arrived, orders promptly taken, food arrived hot and in timely fashion for all of us, delicious entrees that pleased every single one of us. We appreciated the quality of the meals but recognized that our entire experience was due to the quality of the people who work at Florentine's Grill. This was our first visit but we would definitely return.
Florentine's Catering is good great place to stop in and have a drink with friends - Karaoke on Monday's. Happy hour is really good - and food is fine and well priced - nothing spectacular though
good service, disappointing food – I had the tomato mozzerella salad and I was super disappointed. The tomatoes where not all that fresh. There were more onions on top of the salad than there was tomatoes and mozzerella. The onions were in rings, making it difficult to eat without cutting each one. There was way too much balasamic vinegar (and I loooove balasamic vinegar) and not enough oil. I really longed for fresh basil. Good place to chill & dance This is a small restaurant that turns into a nightclub at night on weekends. The dance floor is not that big, but it's a fun place and nice crowd especially on friday or saturday nights. Price is average. It has a cozy and casual atmosphere. Nice place to hang out if you want to go somewhere local right on downtown fullerton.
