I have full Medicaid. I’ve had an appointment scheduled 3 times here and never once been told I couldn’t be seen without paying $63 until today. When I asked why I haven’t been informed of this the many times I spoke with them I just got an “I don’t know”. The receptionist had an attitude like she very much didn’t want to be there. I walked out. I’ll be looking for a new eye doctor. My appointment was scheduled for 2:15 today. Check yalls records. Yall have a pretty building but extremely terrible staff.
We had no issues with the doctor at this location, but the staff and their ability to file an insurance claim are severely lacking. My son has two different vision policies and because the staff doesn’t file correct or refuses to file at all, we have been out of pocket over $500 in the past few months. When I ask for explanations they come up with different reasons and after I explain why that isn’t correct; they come up with a new reason.
I have been unable to order my contacts due to not being able to log into the correct account, I reached out to the office numerous times for help and was unable to get anyone to actually listen. I finally called back yesterday and spoke with someone different, her name was Brittany (The 5 stars are for you!!!). She was amazing. Brittany was not in a hurry to get off the phone with me (like everyone else I spoke to) and she actually listened to the issue with why I couldn't order my contacts. Muscle shoals eye center refuses services to disabled veterans. I wouldn’t go to any eye center.
Horrible staff!! Horrible products! Rude to my daughter!! Rude to me. Woman from billing (manager??) was AWFUL!! My daughter went in with DOUBLE insurance coverage and walked out with a $700 bill for glasses that the lenses scratched within a few days. The blonde short-haired woman smart-mouthed me and pretty much told me she wasn't talking to ME even though the insurance is MINE and I am on her Hippa.
