Shortly after I moved to Saint Lazare in 2025, I entered this shop and was greeted in French but replied in English. After we exchanged a few sentences, with the florist being the only one understanding the conversation, she switched to English to demand to know how long I had lived in Quebec. When I told her 6 weeks, she replied, "Oh, that's alright then." and seemed to be very happy to serve me going forward.
